Update: I’ve just found out that clingfilm (single life plastic) is no longer allowed in Loch Lomond, which is fair enough of course. So I’ll need to source some reusable substitutes. Mercifully I won’t go into details here 🙂
Hey there,
Loch Lomond Comic-Con is coming up, the largest outdoor event of the year (well, for me at least). It’s a weekend in the Trossachs in July, so of course the weather forecast reads thundery showers and light wind. This means I’ll need to take along clingfilm (to strategically wrap around my stall to try and keep the rain out) and a long pointy stick to dislodge any water that has gathered on the canvas roof. These are the survival skills required for an outdoor event in Scotland. Call me the comic con equivalent of Bear Grylls!
There should be some sun as well, and there’s always a great turnout, so hope to see you at Loch Lomond Shore on July 19 & 20. I’ll be in Perth the following Saturday as well, which is held inside the Dewars Centre, so the clingfilm and long pointy stick, thankfully, will not be required.
