I discuss some of my favourite novels with Shepherd books, which feature an unreliable narrator. This is where the main protagonist tells the story, but from their own warped point of view, so not always to be trusted. What can I say I’m a sucker for a skewered point of view. My list consists of The Wasp Factory, The Demon, American Psycho, The Killing Joke, and Lolita.

I’m off to the Borders on Saturday. Galashiels Comic Con is on Saturday 1st October. Venue is Volunteer Halls, St John St, Galashiels, TD1 3JX. I’ll be there 10am-4pm.

Waverley Market Comic Con (Edinburgh)
I don’t need much encouragement (if any) to take a trip to Edinburgh and I’ll be doing so on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th of October. Venue is Waverly Market, which is right next to Waverley Train Station. Time for both days is 10am-5pm.
